The Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs assault against Cassie Ventura is getting worse.

In an unearthed surveillance video from 2016 clearly depicts Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs physically assaulting Cassie Ventura. Diddy was seen in recently revealed footage shoving, kicking, and throwing objects at Cassie Ventura. The pair previously settled a lawsuit where his former girlfriend alleged he raped her among other crimes

What is new is that the LA district attorney says he is ‘unable to charge’ Combs over this attack. The office said if the conduct depicted did occur in 2016, it would be unable to charge Combs “as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted,” a statement on social media read.

The statutes of limitations for assault or battery in California run from one to three years depending on whether they’re charged as misdemeanors or felonies. The attorney’s office added that they found the images “extremely disturbing and difficult to watch.”

Cassie came forward with allegations against the rapper in Nov. 2023. However, Diddy and Cassie settled the lawsuit out of court in a timely manner. According to court documents obtained Bader, she alleged that “he raped her and perpetually abused her for years.”

The surveillance footage from the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, first obtained by CNN, clearly shows Diddy and Cassie in an altercation that matches events described in her lawsuit. The lawsuit alleged Combs paid the hotel $50,000 for the security video. CNN did not say how it obtained the video but noted it verified the location it was shot by comparing the footage to publicly available images of the InterContinental Hotel.

Last year, NYC VIBE cameras saw Diddy on the red carpet at the Met Gala – Diddy issued on his social media site a semi apology but never mentions Ventura by name.

On March 25, Homeland Security Investigations served search warrants on Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami in a sex-trafficking investigation. His lawyer called it “a gross use of military-level force.” The investigation is continuing. Combs has not yet been charged.

This is a developing story…
