Barstool Sports founder and renowned pizza expert Dave Portnoy hosted what many consider one of the world’s largest pizza festivals on Randall's Island in New York City on a glorious sunny afternoon ..The only thing hotter than the sun high in the sky was more than 40 ovens all fired up and with pizza pies loading in and out by the thousands… With about 10,000 fans gathering on the island to enjoy tastes from each of the pizzerias, Dave made the rounds stopping off to meet the chefs and their teams - taking a bite from each… NYC VIBE talked with many of the pizzeria owners to talk about Dave Portnoy's influence and the special assistance he has provided to many that were in need while offering inspiration for each to innovate and grow in their communities. Andrea Bocelli to be Honored at Denyce Graves Foundation's Harvest Moon Gala | NYC VIBE

September 2025 - Theater District NYC If you love musical theater - you will enjoy the new book, Hirschfeld’s Sondheim which is a deluxe oversized Hirschfeld poster book containing more than 50 drawings of Sondheim and his musicals, plays and films, including 25 full page images that can be easily removed and put right on a wall. All of Sondheim’s best–known works are included: West Side Story, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Sweeney Todd, Merrily We Roll Along, and Sunday in the Park with George - in 25 ready–to–frame, removable art prints. There are also previously unpublished works including a triple portrait of Sondheim, George Gershwin and Jerome Kern. The guests talked about how Hirschfeld’s images capture the essence of the performances even better than the photographs of the shows.
