West Side, NY: Who doesn’t love Ol' Blue Eyes - We all do! And now on stage at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theatre on West 64th Street - the trio that first brought us the best of Sinatra years ago - is back with even more… The original creators and performers of "Our Sinatra - A Musical Celebration" Eric Comstock, Christopher Gines, and Hilary Kole, reunited for a 25th anniversary revival of the hit Off-Broadway show which honors arguably the greatest male vocalist of the 20th Century, Frank Sinatra. The 90 minute show features nearly 60 of Ol' Blue Eyes' greatest hits, spanning from his 1940s classic ballads to the swinging sounds of the 1960s. Producers say this performance isn't about an imitation - it is a high-energy celebration focusing purely on the joy and passion of Sinatra's music. Our Sinatra was originally conceived and performed at the Algonquin Oak Room in 1999, where it was discovered by producer Jack Lewin and transferred to a commercial run Off-Broadway at the Blue Angel Theatre. Two national tours and countless regional engagements followed, and Our Sinatra still appears annually at popular nightclubs and theaters. This revival will mark its first full scale production return to New York since the original production. NYC VIBE was invited by the creators - Eric Comstock, Christopher Gines and Hilary Kole, who for the most part are Sinatra historians. Across his entire 54-year solo recording career, Sinatra recorded well over 1200 unique songs with 209 reaching the top of the charts. Frank will be with us forever. #sinatra #franksinatra #oursinatra

A Musical Journey is Now on Stage Celebrating the Legendary Frank Sinatra in New York City

September 2026 - Midtown Manhattan, NY: At the American Theatre Wing's Fall Gala in Midtown Manhattan, excitement broke out when Lin Manuel Miranda brought out the cast of his eagerly awaited Broadway show, The Warriors which will make its debut next spring. NYC VIBE called upon Tony Award winning actress Kara Young to introduce us to the cast who arrived together to celebrate the Gala with Lin. Yes - Lin-Manuel Miranda is heading back to Broadway! His highly anticipated new musical, Warriors, will begin previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in March 2027, ahead of an official opening that April. This marks Miranda’s very first full-length, original stage musical since his global smash hit, Hamilton. There is a major twist coming to a legendary New York story. The upcoming Broadway musical Warriors - based on the classic Paramount Pictures film and the novel by Sol Yurick - is shaking things up. In this new adaptation, the ceremonial street gang is entirely female. So while Lin stole the show, Broadway's unsung heroes are getting their moment in the spotlight. For the fourth consecutive year, the annual gala concert is honoring the behind-the-scenes stars of the theater industry. Highlighting everything from quick-changing dressers and last-minute understudies to backstage makeup artists, the 2026 event celebrates the vital community members who keep the curtains rising every night but rarely get the recognition they deserve.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s ‘Warriors’ Forthcoming Musical Cast Makes Surprise Appearance

History was made at New York Fashion Week when faith, culture, and high fashion converged on the runway. For the first time in the event's history, a runway show dedicated entirely to Jewish and Israeli designers took center stage. Titled "I Love Jewish Girls," the sold-out event brought vibrant energy, cultural pride, and diverse style to Lower Manhattan. Inside the historic Léman Ballroom in Manhattan’s Financial District, the atmosphere was electric. Co-hosted by The House of Faith & Fashion’s Tobi Rubinstein and EPN Fashion Week, this wasn’t just a fashion show - it was a bold declaration of identity and pride just ahead of Rosh Hashanah. The clothing spanned the entire fashion spectrum. Audiences saw everything from avant-garde haute couture by Israeli designer Yaron Minkowski to specialized streetwear, contemporary ready-to-wear, and an entirely dedicated modest fashion segment. Alejandro told NYC VIBE that he hopes this inaugural event paves the way for a permanent, recurring presence at future New York Fashion Weeks, proving that faith and high fashion can seamlessly share the spotlight. The evening culminated in a powerful moment of unity, closing out with the sounding of a Shofar.

Over the past six months, NYC Vibe has captured the dynamic energy flowing through New York City, starting in the East End where Bronx-born Cuba Gooding Jr. celebrated the 30th anniversary of Jerry Maguire at Dan's Light Up the Night in the Hamptons. Across the city, the New York Knicks brought euphoria to local fans with a historic celebration at Madison Square Garden, while the arts scene electrified Broadway with the Drama Desk Awards, Adrien Brody's Broadway debut, and Gucci's historic takeover of Times Square alongside the Met Gala. The reimagined production of Cats: The Jellicoe Ball earned praise from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, and local neighborhoods like Elmhurst, Queens vibrated with passion during Argentina World Cup viewing parties and the Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch event. Philanthropy and film rounded out the action, featuring Eva Longoria and Marc Anthony honoring J Balvin at the 12th annual Maestro Cares Gala, alongside Kevin James stepping out for his romantic comedy Solo Mio. Six Months of Nonstop Energy Across NYC | NYC VIBE

July 2026: Well it was just 7 years ago - July of 2019 in Southampton when NYC VIBE caught up with the former New York Mets great centerfielder Carlos Beltran - who was raising funds for his foundation for an important initiative at that time - providing disaster relief from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria - which had literally destroyed his birth home Puerto Rico. Now remember it was the summer of 2019 - and we asked Carlos what his retirement plans would look like… Well it was just months later when the nine time All Star was hired as a first-time manager for the New York Mets. But he was implicated as a player and key participant in the 2017 Houston Astros illicit sign-stealing scheme and forced to step down on January 16, 2020, acknowledging in a statement that he fell short as a leader. So time has passed and it was a wonderful weekend as the three time Golden Glove award winner was included in the National Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 - honored in Cooperstown, NY… So that brings us back to Manhattan where NYC VIBE met up with former Met shortstop Jose Reyes who was adamant that Carlos Beltran should be the next New York Mets manager… The Mets state they have not really started the process but with endorsements like this - and that they wanted him back then - this could be a calling sign…

Could Carlos Beltran Be the Next NY Mets Manager?

It was the night before the FIFA World Cup Finals and A-list athletes got together at the Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch celebration in New York City - Rob Gronkowski became a paparazzi for the night - taking pictures of his girlfriend Camille Kostek. They were joined by New York Knicks champion Josh Hart, Jordan Chiles, The FoodGOD, Roger Clemens, Dion Dawkins, Paul Pierce, Jutta Leerdam and Jake Paul Now wait a minute….Didn’t NFL legend Tom Brady just slap Jake’s Brother, WWE Superstar Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest…. What's that all about? We made sure to ask Jake if he had any words for the 7-time super bowl champion. Folks - there is something more going on here and we will be watching closely what happens next. Back on the carpet, Mike Leventhal caught up with the athletes who marveled about the quality of play, the athleticism, and the spirit of the World Cup bringing people together in harmony… A large crowd turned out to enjoy 50 Cent on stage who was making the World Cup party rounds all weekend. #worldcupfinal #50cent #tombrady #loganpaul #jakepaul #gronk #Joesreyes #billsmafia #flair

Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch - The Night before the FIFA World Cup Finals

July 2026 - East Hampton, NY: Here he is - Bronx born Cuba Gooding Jr. - the recipient of an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and an Emmy nomination celebrating with friends this past weekend at the EHP Resort & Marina for Dan’s Taste’s 5th anniversary of Light Up the Night on the bay at Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton. Guests lined up to greet Cuba congratulating him on the 30th anniversary of the hit movie Jerry McGuire. Cuba Gooding Jr. played Rod Tidwell, an outspoken, undersized wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. He is the sole remaining client who sticks with sports agent Jerry Maguire played by Tom Cruise) after Jerry gets fired, anchoring the duo's memorable journey. Gooding's electrifying performance earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Cuba was joined by a few hundred that came out to enjoy the majestic scenes of the bay, enjoy the food from top chefs from the region and all you can drink. NYC VIBE met with up with Cristiano Rossi - a highly energetic chef from Italy who worked all day to create a few dishes that were highly sought after… Mike Leventhal watched as Michael Miezianka dished out oysters from the Blue Point farm from the Great South Bay….Blue Point oysters are a classic known for its briny, ocean-forward flavor, plump satiny meats, and crisp, clean finish with a mild, sweet aftertaste. Richie Nuzz and his band performed - a singer, trombonist & modern-day crooner redefining jazz as we know it His sound is lush and cinematic - layered with rich brass, soulful rhythm, and heartfelt romance -transporting audiences to a world where elegance meets emotion. The talented electronic music artist Eric Essebag invited Mike Leventhal to join him behind his control board to experience his brilliance - Eric has excelled in the New York thriving music industry, making a name for himself as a multi-talented musician. When the New York-born and Budapest-bred musician moved back to New York after completing music conservatory school in Hungary in 2014, he felt he could add a new flavor of music to the changing New York entertainment environment. Another great night in the Hamptons - a party with a purpose as only Dan’s Taste can do.
